For reference I have been using this site. Anonymous 5, 1 7 Here is what I imagine. I know, I know. When you switch from write to read, the 74LS outputs switch to high impedance, so your 74LS04 inputs are floating. Second, datashet some pull-up resistors on the 74LS04 inputs.

Thread starter earlbesario Start date Oct 2, First, you do not want the output to drive LED’s without a current- limiting resistor. First, I’m using the 74LSAN as a bit random access memory, and I will use two of them to make a total of 16 bytes in my machine. I also have this same problem and have ordered from two different ebay sellers already and they are all faulty. Papabravo Well-Known Member Oct 10, Articles Top Articles Search resources.
But you’re likely to never get a response with large bold messages. In my 40 plus years in the business I don’t think I’ve ever seen that despite using the part on numerous occasions.
I cheched Jameco but they do not ship to Finland. Are these guys all members of the same class, or worse, team in a class? Here’s comment from Ben’s page you refer to in your question: They’re SRAM, 32KB each, and while you’d never need it all you can easily only use the first 3 address bits data is accessed 8 bits at a time and ignore the rest.
Or rather, were never consistently named in datwsheet first place, and eventually everyone stopped using the 74xxx designations. Potentiometer Questions Started by norbss Yesterday at What could be the problem; defective chip or am I reading the pin-out wrong?
The replacement parts worked exactly as per the datasheet. The wires I had bought were faulty. Just look at the date of the OP I’m usually pretty good at spotting such “revivals”, but this one escaped. Note that this is a very old chip. Number one would datzsheet to post a schematic. TI has a pretty good discussion if you want to understand more:.
