I recommend it to those who LOVE historical fiction and perhaps those who like dweelling having the difficulty of something like Jane Austen. Lord Fischel lives in the manor house with his son, Clive and daughter, Isabelle.

Clive is furious with his father and is determined cooksln Cissie should have her son back. Read this book in the 70’s when I was a teenager, recently re-read it and now I remember why it has always been in the back of my mind as a cokson story.
